These are the words I wish someone had written for me.
When our Charlie received an autism diagnosis at the age of three, it was a big moment. And the early days, weeks and months were hard. When you love a neurodivergent child there is a lot to do – feeling, learning, understanding, accepting, advocating.
These are the words I wish someone had written for me. Back then.
Lately, as Charlie has become an adult, I have been thinking about those early days. And then I began to write about them. They are words, written and curated, to share. From my heart to yours.
My wish for these words is that they find their way into the hearts and minds of others walking the autism road. Maybe that’s you, or someone you know.

From the Heart Words is a collection of 20 postcards. The collection is divided into four chapters, each comprising five postcards.

The words on each card are written and curated to bring joy, courage and understanding to the hearts of everyone who loves a neurodivergent child.
